Pioneer 79 Swimming Club

Pioneer 79 Swimming Club is a very successful swimming club based in Accrington @ Accrington Academy and QEGs @ Blackburn.  We run a Learn To Swim Programme for children from the age of 4, these sessions run on Wednesdays/Friday's/Saturday's and Sunday's with fully qualified teachers and teaching assistants.

Our Training Groups sessions run 7 days a week (squad dependent) with fully qualified coaches.  Our training group swimmers compete in various league and open competitions throughout the year.  Many swimmers have gone on to compete at County, Regional and National Level, we have all produced swimmers who have competed Internationally.

Throughout the year we organise many social events for our swimmers, enabling them to socialise away from the pool, for example: Laserquest, escape rooms, discos, walks, camping trips and many more exciting activities!
