Pioneer 79 Swimming Club is a Swim 21 Accredited Club based in Accrington/Blackburn. We have a successful Learn To Swim Programme for swimmers aged 4 upwards. Swimmers can work through this programme into our Training Groups. We have successfully nurtured swimmers through to County, Regional, National & International Standard. Arena League North West 2015-2016
In 2015, after some fabulous swims in the qualifying rounds, our Pioneer 79 swimmers secured a place in the Premier League 'A' Final for the Arena League North West which was held at Blackpool's Palatine Leisure Centre in December. This was a fantastic achievement for the Club and the first time they had been in the A Final for a number of years.
